Cupcake Liner Firework Craft for 4th of July

These cupcake liner fireworks are a simple, kid-friendly craft that lets little hands create their own colorful fireworks display. With a few patriotic cupcake liners, scissors, glue, and black paper, kids can make a festive decoration perfect for celebrating Independence Day.

Check out how to make other firework crafts on my blog with paint and plastic forks or cardboard rolls or with chalk and pastels. You can also make little patriotic purses or patriotic hats from paper plates. We also made firework rings with chenille stems. Try playing this patriotic ring toss game with the kids too.

Be sure to read children’s books about fireworks while doing this project as well including, “The Night Before the Fourth of July” by Amy Wummer, “Fireworks and Freedom” by Educational Parade, and “Fireworks” by Lori Haskins Houran.
