Watermelon Pops

Frozen watermelon pops are a simple and refreshing summer treat kids love! They’re naturally sweet, juicy, and extra fun to eat on a popsicle stick. This easy nanny and parent approved recipe is perfect for cooling down during a hot day of outdoor play.

You Will Need:

Watermelon
Sharp Knife
Cutting Board
Popsicle Sticks
Parchment Paper
Baking Sheet
Paper Towels

What to Do:

1. Place watermelon half cut side down on a clean cutting board. Cut into 1- inch-thick half moon slices.

2. Take a half moon and cut it into 3-4 triangular wedge shapes. Repeat with the remaining slices of watermelon.

3. Use a sharp knife to cut a small slit in the rind of each triangle shaped watermelon. Carefully insert a popsicle stick into the rind of each watermelon wedge.

4. Spread the pops out on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet, making sure that they’re not touching.

5. Gently pat the top of the slices with a paper towel to absorb any excess moisture.

6. Freeze for 4-6 hours, until frozen through.

7. Serve immediately after freezing.
