Honey-Basted Grilled Peaches

Kids love summer fruit! These grilled honey basted peaches turn a simple fruit into a warm, sweet, and fun treat! Grilling brings out the natural sweetness of juicy peaches while the honey creates a delicious caramelized coating. Served with creamy Greek yogurt, this easy recipe makes a perfect kid-friendly snack, dessert, or summer treat.

You Will Need:

Outdoor Grill, Grill Cast Iron Pan, or Panini Press
Medium Bowl
Whisk
4 Large Peaches, (cut in half and pit removed)
3 Tbsp Honey
1 Tbsp Water
Pastry or Basting Brush
1 Cup Plain Nonfat Greek Yogurt (or Vanilla Greek Yogurt if Kids Prefer)

What to Do:

1. Preheat a grill to moderately high heat (about 400-450°F/204-232°C).

2. In a medium bowl, whisk the honey with 1 tsp warm water until spreadable but not overly thin.

3. Brush the cut sides of the peaches with some of the honey and place cut-side down on the grill. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes, until caramelized and lightly charred.

4. Transfer the peaches to plates and serve with a dollop of Greek yogurt.
