Sidewalk chalk is the ultimate boredom buster. This week, the children and I used sidewalk chalk to make some fun interactive photos with the kids positioning themselves in the photos.
I recommend using a bowl of water to wet the chalk to make it easier to draw darker, more vibrant lines. I also use a flat cardboard box as a flat edge to help draw straight lines when using sidewalk chalk. If you have difficulty bending try using a Walkie Chalk stick to draw with sidewalk chalk without having to sit or kneel on the ground.

- Use sidewalk chalk to draw large colorful balloons with strings.
- Have the child position their body below the balloons with their arms above their heads with a hand holding onto the balloon strings to make it look like they are flying into the air.
