Trace Kids with Sidewalk Chalk Self Portraits

Creative Wednesdays

Every child I have ever cared for while working as a nanny has loved being traced. My youngest Nanny Kid giggled happily as it tickled a little as I traced her with sidewalk chalk on her driveway this week. Then I let her color her portrait with sidewalk chalk. She even gave herself nail polish. I highly recommend doing this project in a shady spot if your Nanny Kids ever find themselves bored this summer. Encourage them to dress themselves in silly outfits too.

You Will Need:

Sidewalk Chalk
Blacktop or Sidewalk
Child

What to Do:

1. Trace the child on their driveway or sidewalk.

2. Let them color in their clothes, face, hair, and body with sidewalk chalk.
