Cooking for Kids
My Nanny Kids don’t like the traditional Thanksgiving desserts of pumpkin and apple pie. So I found these adorable and delicious turkey cookies to make for the children I care for at CrazyLittleProjects web site for Thanksgiving. You Will Need:
Devil’s Food Cake Mix
1 Egg
1 Stick Butter Softened
Frosting
Candy Corns
Candy Eyeballs
What to Do:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Mix the cake mix, egg, and butter until. combined.
3. Roll into small balls and flatten on baking sheet.
4. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
5. Allow the cookies to cool.
6. Pipe frosting into the center of a cookie. Place candy corn along one edge for the feathers.
7. Place another cookie on top.
8. Using a tiny bit of frosting, add the eyes and a candy corn for the beak.
