
This easy to make Shortbread Cookie recipe creates the cutest cookies, perfectly sweet and full of buttery flavor. You Will Need:
Holiday Cookie Press
Baking Sheets
2 cups (4 sticks/1 pound) butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 cup strawberry jam

What to Do:
1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in the vanilla extract.
3. Add the flour and mix until the dough comes together, then add the milk and stir until combined.
4. Scoop the dough into a cookie press. Press the cookies out onto an un-greased, un-lined cookie sheet, leaving about 1-inch between each cookie.
5. Bake the cookies at 350ºF for about 6 minutes until lightly browned around the edges. Transfer the cookies to a wire cooling rack to cool.
6. Once cool, add a dollop of strawberry jam sandwiched between two similarly shaped cookies.
7. Dust the cookies with powdered sugar when ready to serve.
