Pistachio Cake Loaf

Although my Nanny Kids didn’t think they liked pistachios they absolutely love this moist, sweet, and delicious pistachio cake. It is an easy recipe the kids can help make and it is an impressive dessert for holidays or any day of the week at any time of the year. The kids will ask for it often.

You Will Need:

1 Box White Cake Mix
1 3.4 Oz Box Pistachio Pudding
1/4 Cup White Sugar
1/2 Cup Oil
1/2 Cup Cold Water
1 Cup Sour Cream
4 Eggs
1/2 Cup Chopped Pistachios (optional)
Green Food Coloring (few drops optional)

What to Do:

1. Preheat oven to 350.

2. Grease and flour two 8×4 loaf pans or one 9×5 loaf pan.

3. Mix all ingredients until well-blended.

4. Pour into pans. Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into middle of the cake comes out dry.
