Snowflake Ornament or Decoration

Creative Wednesdays

All children love snowflakes. This is an easy decoration to make with your a Nanny Kids during the winter months. Any home can proudly display the beautiful snowflakes made by their children. Families that celebrate Christmas can hang the snowflakes on their Christmas tree.

You Will Need:

Popsicle Sticks
Hot Glue Gun
Glue
Ribbon
Sparkly Decorative Gems and Beads

What to Do:

1. I used a hot glue gun to attach 3 Popsicle sticks together (see image for design). Then I glued a ribbon to the back of the sticks to hang. If you don’t have a hot glue gun you will just need to allow the sticks to dry for longer.

2. Once the glue on the sticks are dry allow the kids to decorate their snowflakes as desired. If you don’t have stick and peel decorative gems and beads, have them use glue to attach the decorations.

3. Allow to dry before hanging.
