Snowman Advent Calendar

Creative Wednesdays

I made this snowman advent calendar for my Nanny Kid to build excitement for Christmas. We started in November so I added days from November on this advent calendar but most advent calendars start on December 1. You can purchase the supplies needed for this project by clicking the links below or visiting my storefront by clicking here.

You Will Need:

White Paper Plate
Orange and Black Paper
Black Marker and Silver Marker
Scissors
Split Pin

What to Do:

1. Use a black marker to write the days until Christmas on the rim of a white paper plate starting about halfway down the plate so there is enough room for the top hat to be attached to the top of the plate.

2. Cut out a large triangle out of orange paper to resemble a carrot nose. Attach the carrot to the center of the plate with a split pin.

3. Cut out several small circles from the black paper to symbolize coal. Paste the black circles to the plate to resemble coal eyes and coal smile.

4. Cut out a top hat from black papers. Write “Days Until Christmas” with silver marker to the hat. Paste the hat to the top off the paper plate snowman.
