Some kids would eat homemade chicken fingers every day if I would make it for them. To add a Halloween vibe to baked chicken fingers I just added almond slices to the tips of chicken and told the children they are witches fingers. Allow the kiddos to dip their witches fingers into ramekins of blood (ketchup and barbecue sauce).
You Will Need:
1 Pound Boneless Skinless Chicken Tenders
2 Eggs, Whisked
1 – 2 Cups Italian Seasoned Bread Crumbs
Almonds, Sliced
Small Cup of Barbecue Sauce or Ketchup
Olive Oil
What to Do:
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease baking sheet with plenty of olive oil.
2. Dip each chicken piece in the eggs, then roll in flour the breadcrumbs.
3. Place on the well greased baking sheet.
4. Bake the chicken fingers in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes.
5. Turn them over and cook for another 10 minutes or until they are brown and pierce easily with a fork.
6. Use ketchup or barbecue sauce to attach a sliced almond to one side of each chicken finger to resemble a finger nail.
7. Serve warm and allow the kids to dip the witches fingers into the ketchup or barbecue sauce to resemble blood.
