Cooking for Kids
Here’s a quick and easy way to make inlets for the kids. Whip the omelette up and keep in a mason jar overnight. Then in the morning or for a quick high protein breakfast or snack you (or the kids) simply remove the kid and microwave the egg in the jar for an omelette in less than two minutes. Here is what to do:
You Will Need:
2 Eggs
Fresh Veggies
Shredded Cheese
Bacon
Dash Salt and Pepper
What to Do:
1. Mix eggs, salt, pepper, veggies, cheese, and crumbled bacon together in a bowl,
2. Pour mixture into a mason jar.
3. Store in fridge with kid in right.
4. When ready to eat, remove lid and put jar in microwave from 1:30-2:00 minutes (checking often).
5. The egg mixture will puff up during cooking but deflate when out of the microwave, so don’t freak out if you see it rise higher than the jar.
6. Top with some additional cheese and crumbled bacon.
