Easy Valentine’s Fudge

Cooking for Kids

Although this fudge can be made with just two-ingredients and taste just fine there a few more ingredients you can add — especially sprinkles. If I make these again next year I will add some red food coloring to make the fudge a deeper pink color. I will also consider adding a few drops of strawberry or raspberry flavoring as well.

You Will Need:

  • White Chocolate Chips, 1 package
  • Strawberry Frosting, 1 container
  • Sprinkles (optional)
  • Heart-Shaped Cookie Cutter (optional)
  • Red Food Coloring, few drops (optional)

What to Do:

1. Spray a 9×9-inch baking dish for thick square fudge pieces or a 9×13-inch baking dish for thinner fudge to cut out heart shapes with cookie cutters.

2. Place the white chocolate chips in a microwaveable bowl. Heat for 1 minute, stir, and then heat for 30 more seconds. Stir, and heat for 30 more seconds and the chips should be melted.

3. After the white chocolate chips are melted, stir in the can of strawberry frosting, until the two are completely mixed.

4. Spread fudge into a greased 9×9-inch or 9×13-inch baking dish, depending if you want to make thick or thinner fudge pieces.

5. Press sprinkles into the fudge with parchment paper.

6. Place in the refrigerator for an hour until it hardens.

7. Cut the fudge into small squares or use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to make heart-shaped fudge. Wipe the knife or cookie cutter between cuts to make cleaner cuts.
