Do You Have to Wake the Kids Up in the Morning?

Teach Me Time Talking Alarm Clock and Nightlight by American Innovative

This week we discussed helping kids with homework and changing moody mornings for kids into happy mornings. Here’s a great way to teach kids to tell time and wake them up in the morning.

Teach Me Time! is an adorable child’s bedside alarm clock, time-teaching tool, and dual-color nightlight all in one. Color-changing nightlight teaches kids to stay in bed until it’s time to wake; parents program “OK to wake” time, when glow changes from yellow to green. Clock is white with interchangeable blue, pink, and yellow bezels; face display options, volume, and brightness are adjustable. Teach me Time! is a fully functional alarm clock with a snooze function, just like their parents’ alarm clocks.

I have also used this clock to help keep the toddler I care for in her bed until it’s time to wake up in the morning and after nap time. She stays in bed until she see the light has turned green.

  1. Yes one of the children has this in his room. Great product. He really likes it. Great to suggest it after your mood morning article. Thanks again for great website.

  2. This clock is great. The digital and analog face is a great combo for kids learning to tell time and are still learning their numbers. We have it set up to change color in the morning when it's ok for him to come out of his room in the morning. We push the time back a bit on the weekends and keep it early during the week. The alarm goes off after "quiet time" which used to be nap time. When it buzzes, he presses the toe to turn it off it.

  3. I like this product. It is a great product to get kids interested in learning how to tell time. Also a good tool to keep those "early risers" in bed longer.

  4. This clock is a great teaching tool. Not only can the kids read the digital display and then associate it with the hands, they can also push a button and the clock with tell them the time. The alarm works well and you can adjust the volume and the kids learn quickly how to silence the alarm by pushing one of the big buttons on the front of the clock. Overall, I think it's a great clock and I'm very pleased with it.

  5. I think it's great!
