Turn any sunny window into a Halloween masterpiece! Kids can create colorful pumpkin, ghost, bat, and candy corn sun catchers simply using tissue paper and self-adhesive laminating sheets. It’s an easy, mess-friendly craft that lets little artists of any age play with color while adding a festive glow to the Halloween decor.
You Will Need:
Construction Paper or Card Stock Paper
Halloween Sun Catcher Templates
Self-Adhesive Laminating Sheets
Tissue Paper Squares
Scissors
What to Do:
1. Print the sun catcher templates.
2. Cut out the pumpkin shape or ghost shape from colored paper. Then cut out the center of the shapes leaving a half inch edge around the shapes.
3. Peel off the backing of the self-adhesive laminating sheet and place it sticky side facing up on the table.
4. Place the paper Halloween shape and facial features on the sticky side of the contact paper.
5. Allow the child to place tissue paper squares onto the sticky laminating sheet.
6. Remove the backing of another laminating sheet and place on top of the Halloween shape and press to seal the sun catcher.
7. Cut out the shape leaving some space around the sun catcher paper to seal it. Hang it in a window to decorate the child’s playroom or bedroom.
