Pink Strawberry Waffles

Who wouldn’t love to wake up to some delicious pink waffles for Valentine’s Day? For over 15 years I have been making this strawberry waffle recipe a former Mom Boss gave to me for Valentine’s Day. The kids will absolutely love these sweet, pink waffles anytime during the year. They are easy to make.

You Will Need:

2 cups All-Purpose Flour
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
2 Eggs, whisked
1 1/2 cups Half and Half
1/4 cup Butter, melted
1 cup Diced Strawberries
6-8 drops Pink Food Coloring

You Will Need:

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. In a medium bowl, whisk together the butter, buttermilk, vanilla, eggs, and food coloring.
  2. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, and stir until just combined (small lumps are okay). Fold in the diced strawberries. Let sit 5-10 minutes.
  3. While the batter is resting, heat your waffle iron. Add the batter and cook according to the waffle maker’s directions.
  4. Serve hot, topped with fresh berries and whipped cream.
