Who wouldn’t love to wake up to some delicious pink waffles for Valentine’s Day? For over 15 years I have been making this strawberry waffle recipe a former Mom Boss gave to me for Valentine’s Day. The kids will absolutely love these sweet, pink waffles anytime during the year. They are easy to make.
You Will Need:
2 cups All-Purpose Flour
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
2 Eggs, whisked
1 1/2 cups Half and Half
1/4 cup Butter, melted
1 cup Diced Strawberries
6-8 drops Pink Food Coloring
You Will Need:
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. In a medium bowl, whisk together the butter, buttermilk, vanilla, eggs, and food coloring.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, and stir until just combined (small lumps are okay). Fold in the diced strawberries. Let sit 5-10 minutes.
- While the batter is resting, heat your waffle iron. Add the batter and cook according to the waffle maker’s directions.
- Serve hot, topped with fresh berries and whipped cream.
