If you are working with kids on New Year’s Eve or just getting them excited for a New Year’s Eve party, help them make noise makers to ring in the new year. They can shake their homemade noise makers at midnight!
You Will Need:
Empty Pringles Cans
Hot Glue
Glue and Glue Sticks
Construction Paper
Stickers, Markers, Ribbons, and Pom Poms
Dry Beans, Buttons, and/or Little Bells
What to Do:
- Clean out empty Pringles cans.
- Pour beans, buttons, or little bells into the cans. Do not fill the cans more than half way so the contents have enough room to move around and make a lot of noise.
- Secure the lids to the cans using hot glue.
- Cover the cans with construction paper using glue or glue sticks.
- Allow the children to decorate their noise makers however they choose using markers, stickers, pom poms, ribbons, and so on. We hot glued ribbons and pom poms to the lids of the noise makers.
