Paper Plate Dinosaur Craft

This is a super easy dinosaur craft to make with girls and boys with a paper plate and toilet paper roll. Be sure to read “How to Catch a Dinosaur,” “Danny and the Dinosaur,” “How Do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight,” and “Dinosaur” while making this simple craft.

You can purchase the children books and supplies needed to make this project by tapping the links or by visiting my storefront by clicking here.

You Will Need:

Paper Plate
Toilet Paper Roll
Dot Markers
Glue or Staples

What to Do:

1. Cut the paper plate and toilet tube in half.

2. Make small slots in the top of the tubes for the plate to fit in to use as legs.

3. Cut a dinosaur head, tail, and spikes out of one half of the paper plate.

4. Allow the kids to decorate half the plate that will be the body and the head, tail, and spikes with dot markers or markers.

5. Glue or staple the head, tail, and spikes to the body.

6. Slide the body of the dinosaur into the legs using a dab of glue to keep secure if you wish.
