Independence Day celebrations on the Fourth of July in America are celebrated with firework displays. So I made this simple fireworks hat for a girl in my care to wear to the fireworks display this Fourth of July. Click here to see how to make an American flag hat for the Fourth if July.

You Will Need:
Paper Plate
Pencil
Scissors
Crayons
What to Do:
1. Use a pencil to draw stars in center of paper plate. You may need to help younger children draw the stars.
2. Use scissors to cut out the stars. Make sure the inside of the paper plate is cut out for the child’s head (see photo).
3. Allow the child to color in the stars.
4. You can cut and tape the back of the hat to fit the child’s head if needed.
