Paper Bunny Purse

Laced Purse

Children don’t have to celebrate Easter to love bunnies. This is a simple crafts to make with little ones they can wear as a purse or hang in their bedroom or playroom as a decoration. I found this idea at mermablog web site.

You can purchase the supplies for this fun project by tapping the links below or by visiting my Amazon storefront.

You Will Need:

Two Paper Plates
Safety Scissors
Markers and Crayons
Stapler
Hot Glue Gun
Ribbon or Yarn
Hole Punch

Stapled Purse

What to Do:

1. Cut a paper plate in half.

2. Cut out two bunny ears out of the other paper plate.

3. Have the child decorate the back of one half of a paper plate with a bunny face.

4. Have the child color in the center of the bunny ears.

5. Put the the front edges of the two paper plates together and staple them together. Or, use a hole punch to punch holes along the rims of the paper plates and have the child lace yarn or ribbon through the holes to secure the plates together.

6. Use hot glue to attach the ears behind the bunny face plate.

7. Then glue or staple ribbon or yarn to the inside of the paper plates to make a handle for the purse.
