“Elmer’s Friends” by David McKee and Puppets

Creative Wednesdays

David McKee’s most famous creation is Elmer the Patchwork Elephant which is published in more than 40 languages. In Elmer’s Friends we learn about the spotty, stripy, tall, and long elephant named Elmer and meet all of Elmer’s very best friends! This chunky board book with easy-grip toddler tabs on every page is perfect for Elmer’s very youngest fans. Your Nanny Kids are sure to enjoy all of the stories in Elmer: A Classic Collection: Elmer’s best-loved tales.

Be sure to make the puppets of Elmer and his friends after reading the books. Let the children in your care play with the puppets when you read these adorable books over and over again.
