I found this patriotic craft idea from happinessishomemade blog. It’s a super easy way for the kids to decorate for a day off from school on Memorial Day this upcoming Monday. My Nanny Kids loved decorating the front of the crafts stick stars with glitter glue pens. You can purchase the products for this project by clicking the links below or visiting my storefront.
You Will Need:
Red and Blue Craft Sticks
Red, White and Blue Tissue Paper
Ribbon
Glitter Glue Pens
What to Do:
1. Glue five craft sticks together to make a star shape.
2. Cut small strips of streamers from tissue paper.
3. Once the starts are dry, slip them over and glue a ribbon to the top of the stars. Then glue an assortment of tissue paper streamers to the back of the stars.
4. Once dry, allow the children to decorate the front of the stars with Glitter Glue Pens or stickers.
