Easy Lemon Mousse

Cooking for Kids

My Nanny Family hired a chef who taught me a few easy recipes my Nanny Kids love. This is a simple, no-bake dessert I have been making over and over for myself as well as my Nanny Family. We use the condensed milk can to measure most of the ingredients rather than using measuring cups. Feel free to replace the lemon with other fruits like lime or passion fruit as well.

You Will Need:

1 Can Condensed Milk
1 Can-Full Heavy Cream
1/2 Can-Full Lemon Juice
Unflavored Gelatin
1/3 Cup Boiling Water
Lemon Zest

What to Do:

1. Dissolve one bag gelatin in 1/3 cup boiling water.

2. Using the condensed milk can to measure, pour one can of condensed milk, one can-full of heavy cream, and 1/2 can-full lemon juice into blender. Mix well.

3. Add dissolved gelatin to blender and whip until well blended.

4. Pour into individual serving dishes or any desert dish.

5. Sprinkle lemon zest on the top of mousse before serving. You can eat it right away but it is even better if set in the refrigerator overnight prior to serving.
