Spring is in the air and so are Spring flowers. There are 150 species of tulips with over 3000 varieties. Tulips are perennials, (lives for more than two years), and usually bloom for only three to seven days. We made some tulips with plastic forks and paint. Here’s what to do:
What You Need:
Plastic of Styrofoam Bowls
Cotton Swabs or Paint Brushes
What to Do:
1. Pour different colored paint into separate paper or styfrofoam bowls.
2. Dip the tip of a plastic fork into each bowl.
3. Place the tip of each fork in each color on the paper to make tulip petals.
4. Once dry, dip a cotton swab or paintbrush into green paint to make stems and leaves.
