Thanks for sharing. I think it's so important for parents to let their children be themselves. I have had the great fortune to see a few of my nanny families let their children test out the other gender. One boy charge after seeing disney on ice wanted a Cinderella toy- the dad got it for him- he played with it for about two weeks and then did not want it anymore. Another family got their daughter the Thomas the Train set- she too loved it for about a month. If it lasts longer then so be it- you have to be who you are and having your parents accept that is key.
I think we have a princess boy in our preschool class. He's always in pants but the styles and colors are feminine. I don't know at 3 yrs old do kids choose this or are the parents choosing to dress him this way since my 3 year old doesn't buy or choose her clothes?
