Bubble Painting

If there’s one activity that never loses its magic, it’s bubble painting. It combines everything kids love — messy play, bright colors, and the simple joy of blowing bubbles. Watching colors swirl and pop into unique, unpredictable patterns feels like pure creativity in action. There are no rules, no pressure, just hands-on fun that sparks imagination and keeps little ones engaged from the very first bubble to the last pop.

You Will Need:

Craft Mat or Disposable Plastic Tablecloth
Mini Disposable Cups or Condiment Cups
Tablespoon
Food Coloring or Non-Toxic Tempera Paint
Dish Liquid
Water
Straws or Bubble Wand
Cardstock Paper

What to Do:

1. Protect the work surface with a craft mat or disposable plastic tablecloth.

2. Combine two tablespoons of dish soap and one tablespoon of water to a disposable cup.

3. Then drop food coloring or two tablespoons of paint to the cup.

5. Mix the paint and bubble solution together.

6. Dip a bubble wand or a straw into the bubble paint and gently and slowly blow out bubbles so they land on the paper. Remind the children to only blow out, and not suck in, when using a straw to bubble paint.

7. Allow to dry before hanging up the colorful bubble paintings!
