Unleash your Nanny Kid’s inner artist this Halloween with a spooky twist! Monster Painted Stones are the perfect crafty project to spark creativity, keep little hands busy, and add a dash of festive fun to your décor. Plus, they make for ghoulishly good memories that you and the children will treasure long after their Halloween candy is gone!
You Will Need:
Newspaper, Craft Mat, or Disposable Table Cloths
Smooth Rocks or Craft Rocks
Acrylic Paints
Paint Brushes
Sharpie Markers
Hair Dryer (optional)
What to Do:
1. Protect the work surface with newspaper, craft mats, or disposable table cloths.
2. Clean smooth rocks collected with kids outdoors to remove dust and dirt and dry completely or use craft stones.
3. Paint the stones with a base coat of paint in various colors. You can use a hair dryer to speed up the drying process if you wish.
4. Once the paint is dry, add more painted details on the stones.
5. Once the paint is dry, use Sharpie markers to add details like mouths, teeth, and eyes to the monsters.
