Each year I have my Nanny Kids make a Thankful Wreath to show what they are grateful for as Thanksgiving approaches.
Teaching children to be thankful, generous, and kind is a lifelong process, and one that involves many friends and family to help develop.
Hang the wreath to proudly display what the child is grateful for to their family and friends for Thanksgiving, or any time of the year.

You Will Need:
Fall Leaf Cutouts
Paper Plate
Scissors
Glue
Crayons or Markers
What to Do:
1. Cut out the center from a paper plate. Color the ring of paper plate with a brown marker.
2. punch out the leaves in various Autumn colors.
3. Have the child write down a person, pet, or a thing they are grateful for on each leaf.
4. Have the child paste the leaves onto the paper plate.
5. Hang the wreath.
