This is a quick and easy craft project to do with the kids of any age to prepare for Thanksgiving. I found one turkey headband template for free and another on Amazon and allowed the children in my care to decorate them as they wished.
You Will Need:
Heavyweight PaperTurkey Headband Template
Printer
Scissors
Crayons and Markers
Stapler and/or Clear Tape
What to Do:
1. Print this headband template or this turkey headband template onto heavyweight paper.
2. Allow the child to decorate the headband.
3. Cut out the headband using scissors.
4. Cut strips of paper to make headband.
5. Staple and/or tape the headband pieces to fit the child’s head and allow them to wear their headband.
