These adorable Halloween night lights are so easy to make with mini mason jars, (or any clear plastic or glass jars), with tissue paper, a black sharpie marker, and battery operated tea lights. Let the kids use construction paper and glue sticks for accessories like a witch’s hat if they want to as well.

You Will Need:
Mini Mason Jars
Black Sharpie Marker
Tissue Paper
Construction Paper (optional)
Scissor (optional)
Glue Stick (optional)

What to Do:
- Allow children to draw Halloween character faces on mason jars. For example we made a ghost, witch, and Jack-o-lantern. Alternately, they can paste construction paper shapes onto the mason jars to make facial features as well.
- Turn on a battery operated tea light and place it into some tissue paper the color that corresponds to the Halloween character, and put it in the mason jar. For example, use white tissue paper for a ghost, green for a witch or Frankenstein, and orange for a Jack-o-lantern.
- Screw on the lid.
- Use construction paper, scissor, and a glue stick to make accessories like a with’s hat if the kids want to.
