Bunny Paper Plate Hat

What kid doesn’t like bunnies — especially when Easter is right around the corner?

I found this project at beafunmum.com and a 7-year-old child I care for made these bunny ears hat out of a paper plate all by herself. If you want the hat to be a snug fit for a particular child’s head, make a cut at the back of the bans and reposition the edges together to fit around the head. Tape to secure.

You Will Need:

Paper Plates
Pencil
Safety Scissors
Markers or Crayons

What to Do:

1. Use a pencil to draw bunny ears in center of paper plate. Although my Nanny Kid used her own design you can help younger children with drawing the ears.

2. Use scissors to cut out the bunny ears.

3. Allow the child to color in the ears of the bunny with crayons or markers.

4. You can cut and tape the back of the hat to fit the child’s head.
